Don’t expect less because of its location – Sanur is loaded with stores, boutiques, antiquities, art shops, and much more. Its development into a site for top rated hotels and properties has affected the value and exclusivity of the commodities. The shopping area in Sanur is divided between three main roads; Jalan Tamblingan, Jalan Mertasari, and By Pass Ngurah Rai. By Pass Ngurah Rai is mainly just a highway that connects Bali’s main towns such as Nusa Dua, Kuta, Denpasar, and Sanur.
It is populated with mostly wood based art galleries, selling a range of products from antique teak doors to dining furniture sets. Tamblingan Street and the lengthy Mertasari Street are a haven for pedestrians and shopaholics as they are jam-packed with art shops, boutiques, retailers, and cafés. So put on your most comfortable outfit and head out for a stroll.
